Is Windows Vista old hat?
It’s rumoured that Microsoft plan to launch a new windows operating system, Windows 7, by 2010. We’re still trying to get our heads around Vista!

I am primarily a support, help and advice service for newcomers to the world of computing. I can provide the following:
Advice about what kind of computer to buy, or which Internet Service provider to choose.
Install your new computer at home and set it up on the Internet.
Provide tuition on how to use and find your way around a computer and keyboard.
Instruction on how to set up and use the Internet, email, instant messaging and a web cam.
Tuition on learning the basics of Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.
Advice on how to protect your computer from viruses and the use of anti virus software. Show you how to keep your Windows operating system regularly updated.
Give assistance in the installation of software and printers.
Show you how to upload digital photos to your computer and use basic image editing.
How I can’t help you...
If your hardware or computer malfunctions or breaks then I probably can’t help as
I am not a trained engineer. If I can’t help, I may be able to assist in finding
someone that can. If your computer is infected with a virus I may be able to help,
but if it’s a severe infection then the entire Windows operating system may need
to be re-
